You did it! January, weeks 1-5, is in the books!

I’ve never really been one for resolutions, but I love that these are smaller challenges to work on step by step over time. I also love the accountability both on here and from friends and family who are watching me do it. I’m also loving the ideas from others who are doing the BYEC. Some of the things people have shared, I never would have thought of. I’ve done a good job of keeping up with the challenges I’ve set for myself so far. Week 1’s challenge was to workout at least 3 times a week and I’ve actually worked out for 28 days straight now! That has NEVER happened in my life!

I am loving being able to take larger goals and break them down into smaller chunks. It’s making me look at many things that way and takes off the sense of being overwhelmed. I’m learning to see what is really doable and when I just cannot add one more thing. So it’s helpful to see what I can remove from my plate so that I can only put on it the things important to me. I also found a couple ditch and switches I hadn’t really thought about and am excited to get those done! So far, I’m still doing the 5 things I set out to do from the beginning and I’m loving it! Learning more about myself, time and making goals attainable. Thanks for doing this! I initially wanted to do all the things like yesterday, but I am so glad for this week by week, small bite by small bite plan, that is helping success be more attainable and long lasting. And I’m the one reaping the benefits and feeling better.

Has it already been a month?! I really love the mindfulness each of the additions has brought to my weeks and how much I’m enjoying them and how some of them are requiring work/intentionality. Like, adding lemon vitality to my water is normal now, but finding the time (especially when it’s 5 degrees outside) to exercise everyday is a little harder. All good things and they’re all adding up! Excited for the rest of the year.
